Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park is located in the Scenic Rim approximately 90 minutes from Brisbane and Gold Coast. It is set on 100 acres of high hilltops and gentle river flats surrounded by National Parks and bordered by the Logan River and Burnett Creek. There is nothing like the experience of camping in the Australian Bush whether it be pitching a tent or a little bit more luxury on one of the powered sites in your camper trailer or caravan.
The sites are large and spacious, even suitable for Big Rigs. Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park has a site for everyone. Enjoy the freshwater creek and river, swimming holes, bushwalking, national parks, visit local attractions, watch the kids riding their bikes, playing with the dogs, the birdlife, wildlife, go fishing, explore, enjoy the open space, sit around the campfire at night. Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park is accessible to conventional vehicles as you leave the bitumen road you travel approximately 2 kilometres down a gravel road to our entrance. They are open every day except Christmas Day.

Long beaches, dramatic coloured-sand cliffs, natural sand blows, rocky headlands and pristine freshwater lakes and streams are some of K’gari (Fraser Island’s) spectacular natural features.
There are 45 camping areas on K’gari (Fraser Island) in Great Sandy National Park. All camping areas have capacity limits and may become booked out, especially during peak holiday periods. To avoid disappointment, book early—bookings are available six months in advance.
Camping permits are required, and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite. Book your campsite and purchase your camping permit in advance. Bookings can be made on-line, over the counter or by phone.
Vehicle access permits must be purchased for every vehicle before arriving on K’gari (Fraser Island)
